In 1997, Jeremy Azif and Jennifer Ullman co-founded the North Texas
Global Telecommunications Society (NTGTS) in the Dallas/Fort Worth
area. Since that time, NTGTS has grown to be a dynamic professional
membership-based organization dedicated to the promotion of dialogue
and interaction on the social and business impacts of global
communications and related technologies. The organization implements
its mission through public fora, membership services, electronic mail,
programs, events and other related activities.

In 2004, Jeremy Azif and Jennifer Ullman co-founded Communications and
Technology Connections (CTC) in the Washington, D.C. metropolitan area.
CTC is a result of further expansion into other markets as well as
leveraging the mission and track record of the North Texas Global
Telecommunications Society (NTGTS). The Washington, D.C. area was
selected as a key market for expansion since the area is one of the
world's busiest and fastest changing telecom and technology hubs. CTC
is a dynamic professional membership-based organization dedicated to
the promotion of dialogue and interaction on the social and business
impacts of global communications and related technologies. The
organization implements its mission through public fora, membership
services, electronic mail, programs, events and other related
activities.

NTGTS and CTC member volunteers provide the leadership that supports
both organizations and their activities. There is no full-time paid
professional staff.
NTGTS and CTC are made up of:
2 organizations across 2 regions
NTGTS and CTC are governed by a Board of Directors. In addition, the
composition of the organization is comprised of the following: Advisory
Board, Officers, Task Forces and the Internship Program.
Top officers are the President, Vice President, Membership Director, and the Secretary.

We are always actively seeking interns throughout the year. We seek individuals with interests in Telecommunications, Information Technology and High Tech. The ideal candidate should have some experience working in the telecom and IT sectors. This person should also be very organized and detail-oriented and be able to handle many different responsibilities simultaneously. The candidate must also be able to attend organization related events, activities and meetings. This is an unpaid internship, however you receive tremendous benefits. Jeremy Azif is a Senior Contracts Manager with Verizon in Ashburn, VA. In his current role, Mr. Azif is responsible for providing contract management support to the Verizon Business Vendor and Strategic Partner Legal Support team attorneys in support of sales opportunities to facilitate agreements with OEMs, distributors, value-added providers and other strategic partners.
Prior to this role, Mr. Azif worked as a Senior Paralegal with Verizon Communications in supporting three lines of business and General Counsels in the areas of consumer long distance, business long distance, and online services. Mr. Azif was responsible for supporting attorneys on transactional matters, state and Federal regulatory affairs and compliance, contracts, customer complaints, litigation support and tariff related issues.

Since April 2004, Jennifer S. Ullman is Associate Director for International Public Policy and Regulatory Affairs at Verizon Communications located in Washington, D.C. In this present position, Ullman supports Verizon’s interests before U.S. and international regulatory authorities including the Federal Communications Commission (FCC). Ullman also supports work on complex international public policy and regulatory issues to develop effective and reasoned positions that promote the interests of Verizon before government and industry. She assists with advocacy work with key contacts in Washington, D.C. or elsewhere to promote positive outcomes for Verizon while avoiding adoption of burdensome and costly government regulation. She also supports that Verizon's viewpoint is effectively communicated to key policy makers in Washington, D.C. or elsewhere. In addition, Ullman provides international public policy and regulatory support to Verizon affiliates and business units. |

Mr. Larry Pereira is an independent Consultant in the technology
& supply chain industries. His company, FlexWorks Solutions Int'l,
is located in Dallas, TX. Larry is the Vice Chair of the Marketing
Working Group for the ZigBee Alliance Organization – an evolving
Standards Body for low power wireless sensor solutions. Larry is
also on the Board of Trustees of The Science Place Museum in Dallas,
TX. Larry has two graduate degrees - MBA in Marketing Management

years Mr. Epstein was responsible for technical regulatory support at
Verizon Communications. Mr. Epstein has been extensively involved
in the topic of numbering. Besides being the past Industry
