Telephonics Corporation (Programs Task Force)
Telephonics Corporation recruited Rene to be in charge of the worldwide
launch and business development of their new nanoCell™ technology after
spending 9 years with Ericsson, where he led the sales organizations
for three key divisions targeting different US and international
markets executing multiple wireless sales and channel partnership
initiatives worth over $100 M USD.
While leading the Mobile Enterprise group, he led all sales activities,
managed strategic partnerships and created indirect sales organizations
in several countries. In one year, Rene reached a multi-million sales
and marketing agreement with the largest potential customer in the
international market setting a standard to follow for the rest of the
organization.
During his tenure at the Wireless Office division, Rene headed the
market introduction of this new solution developing channels and sales
agreements within a key market worth over $50 M USD a year. In two
years, Rene doubled the division's annual sales revenues with several
master global agreements with key international customers.
Beforehand, he managed the Latin America business for Ericsson's
two-way radio operations, where he doubled the region's sales while
finalizing the migration of the whole sales operation to the newly
dictated indirect sales strategy selling more than $20 M USD a year to
multiple customers in over 20 countries.
Rene holds a master's degree in business administration with a
concentration in Corporate Finance from Virginia Tech, and he earned a
bachelor's degree in electrical engineering combining courses from
Virginia Tech and the University of the Americas located in Mexico
where he was born. |
