In 2004, Jeremy Azif and Jennifer Ullman co-founded Communications
and Technology Connections (CTC) in the Washington, D.C. metropolitan
area. CTC is a result of further expansion into other markets as well
as leveraging the mission and track record of the North Texas Global
Telecommunications Society (NTGTS). The Washington, D.C. area was
selected as a key market for expansion since the area is one of the
world's busiest and fastest changing telecom and technology hubs. CTC
is a dynamic professional membership-based organization dedicated to
the promotion of dialogue and interaction on the social and business
impacts of global communications and related technologies. The
organization implements its mission through public fora, membership
services, electronic mail, programs, events and other related
activities.
Today, CTC has more than 200 members, representing all aspects of the
industry including, fixed, mobile, data, Internet, cable, equipment
providers, professional service firms, academic, government, non-profit
and financial institutions as well as students.
Through the organization's membership services, members learn about
current industry trends; discuss these trends at events and programs;
on the website; in the organization's publications; and have ample
opportunity to network with industry colleagues.
CTC offers a plethora of membership services that foster an environment
of professional industry cooperation. Through CTC, alliances,
partnerships, and networks have been forged and strengthened on a
global scale. |
