SECOND ANNUAL INFORMATION & INTERNET SECURITY CONFERENCE 2005: INTERNET DANGERS AND VULNERABILITIES, APRIL 12-13, 2005

Annual Information & Internet Security Conference 2005:
"Internet Dangers and Vulnerabilities" taking place on April 12-13 in
Plano, TX.
The Second Annual Information & Internet Security Conference 2005
will take at the Plano Centre located at 2000 East Spring Creek
Parkway, Plano, TX. The purpose of the conference is to increase
the awareness of the potential privacy, financial and personal/business
risks associated with Internet use and security as well as what
preventive measures can be taken to safeguard yourself and your data.

Texas First Thursday Monthly Happy Hour
Please join NTGTS for its April 7, 2005 First Thursday Monthly Happy
Hour taking place at The Richardson Hotel, 701 East Campbell Road,
Richardson, TX between 6:00-8:00 p.m. CT.
NTGTS members are FREE and the fee is $5 for Non-Members.
Payments are taken at the door only for this event. Cash, check

any of the individual membership tiers, including, Basic,

SPRING BUSINESS MIXER
Please join Communications & Technology Professionals (CTC), the
D.C. arm of NTGTS as it co-sponsors again with several other
organizations the Spring Business Mixer for an evening of fine
networking. The event will take place on Monday, March 21, 2005
at the Tower Club, located at 8000 Towers Crescent Drive, Vienna, VA
(Tysons Corner).

Japan External Trade Organization (JETRO) Partnering at CTIA
To introduce new, promising U.S wireless companies to potential
Japanese partnering companies, JETRO, which is also a Corporate Member
of NTGTS, is providing a partner match event in conjunction with the
CTIA trade show in New Orleans, LA on March 13, 2005. U.S. technology
companies interested in initiating, renewing or expanding business with
Japan’s major wireless companies (as suppliers, joint venture partners,

JAPAN BUSINESS MISSION
JETRO in cooperation with the U.S. Department of State has announced a business mission to Japan May 15 - 21, 2005.
JETRO-Houston is inviting area companies to actively participate in
meetings taking place both in Tokyo and in Nagoya in conjunction with
the 2005 World’s Exposition held in Aichi Prefecture.
Customized business-to-business meetings will be arranged in advance in

USTDA TO UNVEIL TELECOM AND ICT EXPORT OPPORTUNITIES AT SOUTHEAST ASIA CONFERENCE
Export and investment opportunities in Southeast Asian nations
are the focus of a U.S. Trade and Development Agency (USTDA) conference
for information and communications technology providers to be held
April 27-29 in Bangkok, Thailand. The event will bring government
officials and private sector leaders from eight countries together with
representatives of U.S. telecommunications and Internet technology
companies.
The Southeast Asia Connections Conference will provide participants
with details on new project and export opportunities in the areas of
mobile systems, wireless local loop, data networking and Internet
access, fiber networks, e-government and e-commerce. The projects
presented at the event are expected to be implemented over the next 18
months and range in value from $2 million to $200 million.
The conference agenda will also address key policy issues and highlight
efforts to expand telecommunications infrastructure, improve delivery
of government services, and support the growth of e-commerce.
Participating countries will include from East Timor, Indonesia, Laos,
Malaysia, Papua New Guinea, Philippines, Thailand, Vietnam and the
United States.
Each U.S. participant will receive a resource guide on the projects
presented, including critical economic information, export potential,
time lines, equipment needs and key contacts. A series of
pre-scheduled one-on-one meetings will also enable U.S. participants to
