SEPTEMBER 22, 2005 NETWORKING EVENT TO ADDRESS WIRELESS TECHNOLOGIES: MOBILITY AND IT'S IMPACT ON PRODUCTIVITY Welcome back from a long and restful summer and please join NTGTS for its September 22 2005 First Thursday Monthly Happy Hour taking place at The Richardson Hotel, 701 East Campbell Road, Richardson, TX between 6:00-8:00 p.m. CT. (Note change of date due to hotel scheduling conflict).
NTGTS members are FREE and the fee is $5 for Non-Members. Payments are taken at the door only for this event. Cash, check or credit cards are accepted. If you attend this event and sign up for NTGTS membership or renew your membership, there will be a special discounted rate accorded to you. The discount is half-off any of the individual membership tiers, including, Basic, Academic/Government/Non-Profit/Military, Retired/Unemployed, and Student.
NTGTS is pleased to announce that return of previously featured speaker Mr. Dan Garvey, Regional Sales Manager for Research In Motion, Ltd. (RIM). In follow up to Mr. Garvey's February 2004 presentation, Mr. Garvey will discuss wireless mobility and its impact on productivity and the vision of a wireless future.
Dan Garvey is responsible for sales of RIM products in Texas, Oklahoma, Arkansas, Louisiana, Kansas, Missouri, Colorado, New Mexico and Arizona. Prior to joining RIM, Mr. Garvey was the Regional Director of Strategic Accounts for McLeodUSA, Inc., charged with leading a team selling value added telecommunications product in the southwest region to Fortune 1000 size companies. Prior to McLeodUSA, Mr. Garvey worked with @Link Networks, Inc. During his tenure with @Link, Mr. Garvey served in various functions starting as Director of Sales and ultimately as VP of Channel Marketing responsible for Strategic relationships, Vertical Markets, and Corporate Funding.

NTGTS will meet in the newly renovated Boots & Brix lounge area of the hotel. There will be door prize drawings, a cash bar, and light hors d'oeuvres provided by the hotel.
