PARTNERING WITH NETWORK WORLD CONFERENCE AND EXPO 

NTGTS is partnering with Network World for the IT Roadmap:  Dallas Conference taking place on Wednesday, September 13, 2006 at the Hyatt Regency Dallas.  NTGTS/CTC members are encouraged to register for this free conference and expo.  Sessions will focus on security, VoIP, network management, enterprise mobility, data center, among other topics.

SEPTEMBER 14 PROGRAM ON MOBILE SECURITY

OCTOBER 18 PROGRAM ON U.S. AND EUROPEAN VOIP ISSUES 

Please plan to attend CTC’s, the Washington, D.C. arm of NTGTS, Digital Domain 2006 Evening Program Series on “Recent Developments in VoIP Regulation in the U.S. and Europe” taking place on Wednesday, October 18, 2006, at the offices of Paul, Hastings, Janofsky & Walker LLP located at 875 15th Street, N.W., Washington, D.C.  The event will begin with a reception at 6:30 p.m. EST.  We are pleased to host and welcome Steve Rich, Attorney, Telecommunications Practice Group of Paul, Hastings, Janofsky & Walker LLP.   Rich will discuss “Recent Developments in VoIP Regulations at the U.S. FCC and at the European Union Levels.”  For more information on Paul, Hastings, Janofsky & Walker LLP, see www.paulhastings.com. Registration fees are as follows:  on or before October 4:  $15 for CTC Members; $25 for Non-Members; after October 4:  $30 per person.  For more information about CTC, see www.ctcconnections.org.
 

CORPORATE WELLNESS SEMINAR 

NTGTS is a co-sponsor for a “Corporate Wellness” Program taking place on Wednesday, October 4, 2006 at the University of Texas at Dallas (UTD), Executive Education Center, Richardson, TX.  The event will begin at 7:30 a.m. CST.

 

This seminar is for corporate and human resource executives as well as executives specializing in benefit plans.  Speakers include:  Ken Malcomson, Market President, Humana; Jeffrey Mains, Executive Director, Health Plan Design, AT&T; Michelle Kirby, Senior VP, People and Culture, Texas Health Resources; Jeff Crilley, FOX 4 News, Author “Free Publicity”; David Gibson, Director, Collin County Community College, Respiratory Program; and Hari Subramanian, Plasma Training, Author “Breathe your Way to Success”. 

 

Co-Sponsors include:  UTD; Metroplex Technology Business Council; and NTGTS/CTC.  Proceeds from this event will benefit The Samaritan Inn, McKinney and Buckners Childrens Home, Dallas.

VOLUNTEERS NEEDED TO SUPPORT STRATEGIC INITIATIVES

We are currently seeking volunteers to help support projects related to the implementation of the NTGTS/CTC 2006 Strategic Plan.  These projects are critical to meeting and/or exceeding our annual objectives in the areas of messaging, membership, programming, recruitment, expansion activities, and finances.  This is a wonderful opportunity to network with industry leaders, enhance your management skills, and gain additional exposure.

If you are interested, please contact NTGTS/CTC President Jeremy Azif by September 8 at president@ntgts.org.  Once we hear from you, we will share more details about these projects.
