Please join the North Texas Global Telecommunications Society (NTGTS) for its October Monthly Networking Event taking place on Thursday, October 5, 2006 at The Richardson Hotel, 701 East Campbell Road, Richardson, TX. The program will run from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. CST. NTGTS is pleased to host and welcome Brian White, Founder of Converged Network Solutions (CNS). White will discuss "Illustrating the Cost Benefit Analysis of IPTV within the Triple Play." IPTV is one element of the emerging Triple Play - voice, data, and entertainment. It represents an exciting new revenue generating opportunity for telecom service providers. To better understand the business dynamics of IPTV, CNS has simulated the Triple Play business model. A Multivariate Effects Monte Carlo Simulator Model was employed to determine what really matters and what influencers might effect the most change.

Participants in the session will gain an understanding of:

- The network elements within the IPTV Video Distribution System.

- The key elements driving the cost to deliver IPTV service.

- The IPTV revenue sources and their impact on the business.

- What really matters and where should the service provider focus.

- How IPTV relates to web and voice in the Triple Play business case.

- Possible strategies to drive profitability through IPTV within the Triple Play.

White has over 20 years of experience in the telecommunications and IT markets heading sales and professional services for start-up and multi-national companies. Prior to founding CNS, White headed professional services for Marconi Wireless, an international wireless services firm.
