MARCH 20 PROGRAM TO ADDRESS TELECOM MEGA MERGERS
Please join the North Texas Global Telecommunications Society (NTGTS) for its March Monthly Program on Tuesday, March 20, 2007 at The University of Dallas, Plano Campus, 2301 Ohio Drive, Plano, TX, located near the corner of Preston Road and W. Park Blvd. The program will run from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. CST. NTGTS is pleased to host and welcome NTGTS Advisory Board Member Dr. John Nugent. Dr. Nugent will discuss "Analytical Models & Tools of Telecom Mega-Mergers." Dr. Nugent will present some power analytical tools and models as applied to the new telecom mega-mergers. AT&T and Verizon will be discussed as case examples of the new industry strategy and why other carriers must follow their lead to survive. Be sure not to miss this timely program before the further industry consolidation occurs. Dr. Nugent is the Director of the Center of Information Assurance and Assistant Professor, University of Dallas Graduate School of Management. He concurrently serves as CEO of the Hilliard Consulting Group, Inc. Dr. Nugent teaches graduate and executive education courses in telecommunications and strategy as well as information assurance.
