PRESIDENT'S MESSAGE

Dear Members,

I hope your New Year has been off to a great start!  Since January 1, 2007, NTGTS/CTC has been actively developing and finalizing its 2007 Strategic Plan and Events Calendar.

Also, in Texas, we have been in the process of identifying a new event venue to hold our Monthly Networking Events.  We apologize for any inconvenience and/or delay in brining you our quality programming.  We plan to have a program in mid-March.  Please watch your e-mail inbox for the next event announcement.

Presently, we are conducting our 2007 Membership Drive.  If you need to renew or wish to become a member, please go to http://www.ntgts.org/zenCart/index.php.  For membership information, see http://www.ntgts.org/content/blogsection/6/69/.

I also want to inform you of some of our 2006 major accomplishments.  In Texas, we held 10 monthly programs on topics such as Wi-Fi, Broadband in Latin America, Network Bridging Elements, and IPTV, among other topics.  In Washington, D.C., we held three events and partnered with the Northern Virginia Technology Council (NVTC).  In addition, we were involved with six partner events throughout the year.  We also launched our enhanced web portal.  If you have not yet visited the new website or registered as a user, please go to www.ntgts.org or www.ctconnections.org.

As you can see, we have much to be proud of with a solid track record.  I look forward to making 2007 an even better year.

Sincerely,

Jeremy L. Azif

President & Co-Founder

Telecom Solution Center Training & Educational Opportunities/TEM 2007

We encourage NTGTS/CTC members to check out the excellent educational opportunities that Telecom Solution Center has to offer.  See their website at   http://www.telemanagetraining.com/ which covers topics for both our on-site and elearning programs.  The knowledge base (http://aotmp.com/) provides white papers, templates, tips and more for the telecom industry.  In addition, it contains a subscriber forum that allows the subscribers to chat with each other, trade tips and ask questions without a vendor following up to offer their services.  Telecom Solution Center's annual convention, TEM 2007, offers a premier event for telecom and IT professionals who want maximum impact and take-away success from a single, information-packed event. TEM 2007 will feature speakers from Gartner Group, Aberdeen Group, corporate telecom and IT leaders, AOTMP educators and others.  For more information, see http://www.tem2007.com/.
