November 27 North Dallas Chamber of Commerce Annual Telecommunications Conference 2007

On November 27, 2007, the North Texas Global Telecommunications Society (NTGTS) will once again serve as a co-sponsor of the North Dallas Chamber of Commerce's (NDCC) Annual Telecommunications Conference.  This year’s conference, the 12^th Annual produced by the Chamber, “Competing in the 21^st Century:  Today’s Leaders Address Tommorrow”, will take place at the Hilton Anatole Hotel, 2201 Stemmons Freeway, Dallas from 7:00 a.m. to 11:30 a.m.  This half-day conference is designed to provide insight on what decision makers are saying about the industry today and market trends; what strategies are shaping the future of telecom; and what role will regulators continue to play in this deregulated industry. 

We would like to draw your attention to two particular parts of the program.  The first keynote session will feature Landel Hobbs, Chief Operating Officer, Time Warner Cable.  Hobbs will discuss "A Glimpse of the Future Now".  The second keynote will feature Mike McCurry, Co-Chair, Hands Off the Internet (HOTI).  McCurry will discuss, “Say You Want a Revoluation?  Politics, Public Policy and Tomorrow’s Net”.   

In addition to the keynote speakers, there will be panel sessions featuring distinguished speakers and industry leaders from:  Jackson Walker, L.L.P., Texas Instruments, Yankee Group, DeVry University, Parago, Inc., Deloitte & Touche Enterprise Risk Services, and AT&T.  Welcome and Opening Remarks will be provided by NTGTS’ Director of Programs for North Texas, Daniel Chalker, Partner, Chalker Flores, LLP.
