Testimonials

Jim Chester

“As an international business & trade attorney with a number of telecom and technology clients, I am a frequently witness to the synergies between international trade and technology issues.  NTGTS is unique among telecommunications industry groups in its awareness of the convergence of these two seemingly distinct areas.  NTGTS serves to bridge the gap between the international trade and telecommunications communities, and as such is positioned to become one of the industry’s most relevant and important groups.”

PRESIDENT’S MESSAGE

Dear Members:

Happy New Year!  I hope your New Year has been off to a fantastic start.

NTGTS has been busy since December 2007 preparing for 2008.  The organization has developed its 2007 accomplishments, held a strategic planning meeting and is in the process of developing and finalizing its 2008 events calendar.

As with all non-profits, the biggest challenge is fundraising and we need to continue focusing on that area.  We could do so much with additional funding to meet the requests we receive and have a greater impact and higher level of participation on high-tech and telecoms issues. Please renew your memberships and ask your friends and colleagues to join as well.  If you would like to take a more active role, please contact me to get started.  Be a leader. Together we can make a difference. Thank you and we look forward to our continued collaboration with you in 2008.

Jeremy L. Azif  2007 ACCOMPLISHMENTS

NTGTS continued its membership outreach at the individual, corporate and organizational/institutional levels in 2007.  There are a total of 237 members worldwide and growing.  We held six monthly programs in Texas and an event in Washington, D.C., partnering with Information Gatekeepers Group (IGI) out of Boston.

We held eight partner events that took place in Hawaii, Washington, D.C., Austin, and Dallas.  Finally, we continued with our e-newsletters which helped with our consistent branding, messaging and look.
