NTGTS Celebrates 10 Years of Serving the U.S. Telecommunications Industry

Stellar track record and accomplishments in global communications drive confidence in future support and value to U.S. telecommunications professionals

Washington, D.C., (October 19, 2008) -- The North Texas Global Telecommunications Society (NTGTS), founded in 1998 by Jeremy L. Azif and Jennifer S. Ullman, is celebrating its tenth year of education, service and collaboration in the field of global communications.

Since its first event in Dallas more than a decade ago, NTGTS has progressed to deliver top-notch programs, seminars and conferences that have improved the personal and professional lives of its members and others who have benefitted from our high-quality programming for industry professionals.  The organization’s reach spans North Texas and Washington, D.C., and touches many members throughout the United States and around the world.

As technologies continued to advance and converge, NTGTS recognized the need to develop an excellent Internet presence, adapt its programming to the changing times and issues and attract leaders at the top of their game in the sector or related sectors.

In keeping with its global mission of expansion, the organization opened a chapter in the Washington, D.C. area called Communications and Technology Connections (CTC) in 2004.  NTGTS also developed partnerships and relationships with many organizations around the globe, including Chambers of Commerce, associated industry groups, local, state, federal and international governments and press/media.

“NTGTS’ hope and objective for the next 10 years is to continue expanding the organization, providing education and networking opportunities to its members and, overall, to be known as a premier non-profit industry organization in the global telecommunications,” said Jeremy Azif, president and co-founder of NTGTS. “NTGTS continues to be unstoppable, and the next decade will demonstrate our impact, value and staying power.”

About NTGTS and CTC:

The NTGTS and CTC mission is to develop a successful, dynamic organization for professionals and students of telecommunication and related technologies in the North Texas and Washington, D.C. regions.  Our purpose is to provide members with programs and information that enable them to better understand and benefit from the developments taking place in the international communications arena and to provide members with opportunities for professional cooperation, career development, networking, and industry contacts.  For more details, see www.ntgts.org or www.ctconnections.org.
