North Dallas Chamber of Commerce 13^th Annual Telecommunications Conference 2008

On December 5, 2008, the North Texas Global Telecommunications Society (NTGTS) will once again serve as a co-sponsor of the North Dallas Chamber of Commerce's (NDCC) Annual Telecommunications Conference.  This year's conference, the 13^th Annual produced by the Chamber, "More Than Business", will take place at the Westin Park Central Hotel, 12720 Merit Drive, Dallas, TX from 7:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.  This half-day conference is designed to provide insight as to what we can imagine the future of the telecommunications industry will be like.  Presentations will touch on whether telecommunications can help lead the way in recovery of the financial markets; what's new and what's coming up for the next generation of wireless devices; and how service providers are communicating with consumers.  

We would like to draw your attention to two particular parts of the program. The first keynote session will feature Mr. Matthew P. Boyer, Managing Director, Carlyle.  The closing keynote will feature Ms. LeAnn Priebe, President, South-Central Region, AT&T Mobility and Consumer Markets.   In addition to the keynote speakers, there will be a presentation by Mr. Jeff Wacker, Director of Strategy for EDS.  An EDS Fellow and Futurist, Mr. Wacker will discuss "The Anywhere Revolution".  

There will also be two panel sessions rounding out the rest of the conference.  The first panel, "Defining 4G Technology", will feature speakers from:  Texas Instruments, Nortel, Huawei Technologies, and Fujitsu Network Communications.  The second panel, "What Do Consumers Want in a Converged World", will feature speakers from:  AT&T Services, Inc., Deloitte Service LP, Alcatel-Lucent, and Nokia Siemens Networks.
