February 2009 Monthly Networking Event:  VoIP Security

Please join NTGTS for its Monthly Program on Thursday, February 26, 2009 at the University of Dallas, Frisco Campus, 7460 Warren Parkway, Frisco, TX.  The program will run from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Central.  The program's featured speaker is Dr. Ram Dantu, Assistant Professor, and Director, Center for Information and Computer Security, University of North Texas, who will present on VoIP Security.  Aspects covered will include securing pervasive computing, next-generation emergency services and telephone telepathy.   

Prior to joining the University of North, Dr. Dantu was most recently served as Technical Director for Netrake Corporation in Plano, TX where he was responsible for developing innovative network security products for traversing VoIP traffic between enterprises and service providers.  Prior to joining Netrake, Dr. Dantu held various technical positions of increasing responsibility for Ipmobile, Alcatel Network Systems, Fujitsu Network Communications, and Northern Telecom Ltd.

Cost

Members are $5.00 per person.  Non-members are $10.00 per person.  Light food and refreshments will be provided.
