NTGTS November Program Discusses ICT Testing Transformation Please join NTGTS and its Host Sponsor, The Erik Jonsson School of Engineering & Computer Science, at the University of Texas at Dallas (UTD), for an exciting Monthly Program on Thursday, November 17, 2011 at the UTD campus in Richardson, TX from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. The program's featured speaker is Tony Chang, Senior Director of Test Solutions, Huawei, who will discuss future opportunities for the “ICT Test Transformation”.
The quality of a product is not completely derived from “the number of Test Cases”, “Test Automation Capability” & “Product Defect Density”, but mainly demonstrated by: · “Product Test Coverage & Untested Code Risk Analysis” during the product development & test stage; · “Solution Test Coverage for Customer Driven & Acceptance Test” during the Solution test stage; and · “Customer Satisfaction” from the Field Deployments stage. In this session, Mr. Chang will share perspectives on the Test Process, Methodology, Tools evolutions & improvements to demonstrate how to ensure the product quality, Customer Satisfaction, and how to apply the “Cloud” concept to the daily test activities in order to face the challenges created by the “ICT Transformation”. For more than 20 years, Tony held a variety of positions of increasing responsibility for Nortel in the area of Test and Tools Development, including serving as the Director of MCI/Verizon customer deployment and acting as the corporate authority on Test Design Development.
