Testimonials

Sergio Hirai, Program Manager, Microsoft Corp. and Former NTGTS Intern

"During my MBA that focused on telecom, I got involved with NTGTS as an intern to get a little bit more exposure in the industry I was pursuing.  The experience was very enriching and NTGTS gave me the opportunity to meet several groups in the telecom arena.  My participation organizing the events helped me to develop my planning and communications skills in a real business environment with top leaders in the area from the most diverse backgrounds and views of the industry.  Not only did developing contacts with real business and topics open my mind, the leadership at NTGTS was also very interested in my personal development.  I really enjoy working with the team NTGTS built.  I can only thank NTGTS for the opportunity to be part of the team.”

In 2004, Jeremy Azif and Jennifer Ullman co-founded Communications and Technology Connections (CTC) in the Washington, D.C. metropolitan area. CTC is a result of further expansion into other markets as well as leveraging the mission and track record of the North Texas Global Telecommunications Society (NTGTS). The Washington, D.C. area was selected as a key market for expansion since the area is one of the world's busiest and fastest changing telecom and technology hubs. CTC is a dynamic professional membership-based organization dedicated to the promotion of dialogue and interaction on the social and business impacts of global communications and related technologies. The organization implements its mission through public fora, membership services, electronic mail, programs, events and other related activities.

Today, CTC has more than 200 members, representing all aspects of the industry including, fixed, mobile, data, Internet, cable, equipment providers, professional service firms, academic, government, non-profit and financial institutions as well as students.

Through the organization's membership services, members learn about current industry trends; discuss these trends at events and programs; on the website; in the organization's publications; and have ample opportunity to network with industry colleagues.

CTC offers a plethora of membership services that foster an environment of professional industry cooperation. Through CTC, alliances, partnerships, and networks have been forged and strengthened on a global scale.

The CTC Mission

CTC seeks to stimulate friendships, professional cooperation, and respect in order to effectively promote cross-cultural developments and commerce. A further goal of the organization is to provide members and organizations with the information, resources, and tools that better enable them to take advantage of the developments occurring in the international communications and technology arenas. CTC also fosters personal/professional development and the networking needs of its members by providing access to a global network of industry contacts and leaders. In addition, one of the CTC's key missions is to continue expanding and developing into other markets worldwide.
