In 1997, Jeremy Azif and Jennifer Ullman co-founded the North Texas
Global Telecommunications Society (NTGTS) in the Dallas/Fort Worth
area. Since that time, NTGTS has grown to be a dynamic professional
membership-based organization dedicated to the promotion of dialogue
and interaction on the social and business impacts of global
communications and related technologies. The organization implements
its mission through public fora, membership services, electronic mail,
programs, events and other related activities.
Today, NTGTS has more than 200 members, representing all aspects of the
industry including, fixed, mobile, data, Internet, cable, equipment
providers, professional service firms, academic, government, non-profit
and financial institutions as well as students.
Through the organization's membership services, members learn about
current industry trends; discuss these trends at events and programs;
on the website; in the organization's publications; and have ample
opportunity to network with industry colleagues.
NTGTS offers a plethora of membership services that foster an
environment of professional industry cooperation. Through NTGTS,
alliances, partnerships, and networks have been forged and strengthened
on a global scale.
The NTGTS Mission
NTGTS seeks to stimulate friendships, professional cooperation, and
respect in order to effectively promote cross-cultural developments and
commerce. A further goal of the Society is to provide members and
organizations with the information, resources, and tools that better
enable them to take advantage of the developments occurring in the
international communications and technology arenas. The Society also
fosters personal/professional development and the networking needs of
its members by providing access to a global network of industry
contacts and leaders. In addition, one of the Society's key missions is
to continue expanding and developing into other markets worldwide.
