Lancesoft Santu Mullur is Vice President – Corporate Development at Lancesoft, an IT services company headquartered in Reston Virginia. Santu is responsible for off shore services, global infrastructure, acquisitions and strategic investments.
Mr. Mullur has an extensive background in the Hi Tech industry. Prior to joining Lancesoft Santu was Director of Offshore Accounts for Manugistics a Rockville, Maryland based company that is a global leader in Supply Chain Software. He has held different executive and management positions with startups as well as established Telecom companies. He was the Chief Operating Officer of Strongbox Securities, a Dallas based Startup Company developing products in the Network Security industry. In Gnubi Communications, Dallas, developer of SONET measuring instruments he was the Vice president of Development. In Lightsand Communications, a SAN appliance developer, he was Vice President of Platform products responsible for all Engineering and Development. Prior to that he was the Director of Operations for Mayan Networks a Metro Edge Switch company.
From 1983 to 1996, Santu was in MCI Telecommunications having moved thru various divisions of MCI from MCI International, Network Engineering, Network Management, MIS and Professional Services. He had done pioneering work in the company, starting the Multimedia group, launching the International voice service, and implementing an award winning NASD network which got the tech award of the year and mentioned in the time capsule in Smithsonian.
Mr. Mullur has a Bachelor' degree in Physics, Bachelors degree in Telecommunications, Masters in Computation and Control Engineering from prestigious schools in India such as Indian Institute of Technology, Kharagpur. In US he studied for MBA from Finance in Long Island University and earned a Master of Management in Telecommunications from the University of Dallas.
He has been consulting in Dallas for the past three years and had conducted seminars on "Impact of HIPAA " in Dallas to Healthcare industry professionals. He has been featured in Dallas Morning News success story captions and is proud that he was the Chief Project Engineer for the MCI telecom network in LA Olympics in 1984. |
