Dr. Stanley L. Kroder (Stan) is Associate Dean for On-Line Learning and
Information Technology as well as Associate Professor at the College of
Business, University of Dallas (UD). Dr. Kroder is the founder of UD
MBA program in Telecommunications Management and the UD Internet-based
On-Line Learning program. He joined the University in 1989 after a
29-year career with IBM.
Under his direction, the Telecommunications Program has graduated more
than 600 students since its inception in 1989. As Associate Dean for
On-Line Learning, Dr. Kroder is responsible for managing the UD College
of Business Internet MBA program. He started this initiative in 1997.
It now accounts for over 25% of all MBA enrollments. Over 45 courses
are on-line. Students take the courses from the Dallas-Fort Worth area
and around the world.
Dr. Kroder developed alliances with MCI/WorldCom, SBC and Citizens
Communications for teaching Telecommunications courses onsite and via
state-of-the-art video conferencing to students in various corporate
locations.
He has performed consulting engagements involving telecommunications
issues with such companies as MCI/WorldCom, Nortel Networks, and
Fujitsu. He has led University of Dallas MBA capstone student team
projects with over 60 corporate clients. He has led seminars for
business executives for IBM, SBC, MCI/WorldCom and other high tech
companies. He regularly presents at the University of Texas Law School
Conference on Telecom Law. He has served as an expert witness in
several telecom law situations.
Dr. Kroder received a Bachelor of Science degree in Industrial
Management from MIT's Sloan School of Management and a Master of
Science in Operations Research from Case-Western Reserve University. He
holds a Ph.D. in Organization Theory, Business Strategy and
International Management, from the School of Management, University of
Texas at Dallas. |
