Telecommunications Consulting
John Jensik retired from Verizon where he was International Regulatory Director responsible for influencing and shaping regulatory and government telecommunications policies worldwide. After 20 years in domestic telecommunications, John began his international career in 1992, with an assignment in Venezuela establishing the regulatory process for their national telecommunications company. John has worked with GTE ventures throughout Latin America, Europe and Asia. On these assignments he developed privatization plans, interconnection arrangements, and regulatory analysis and policies. John has published numerous papers on the pricing of local and interconnection services and has testified as an expert witness on pricing and competition in telecommunications. Prior to working for GTE, Jensik was a member of the computer science faculty at the University of Wisconsin, where he taught applied mathematics. John serves as Senior Advisor for the North Texas Global Telecommunications Society and Communications Technology Connections. John received his BS in mathematics from the University of Wisconsin and his MA in mathematics from Western Michigan University. |
