Communications Corporation
Tom Brewer is President and Chief Executive Officer of Brewer
Communications Corporation, which sells and manages regional
telecommunications services for a variety of customers in the D/FW
area. Through subsidary, Event Communications, (an event company with
special emphasis on large special events) Mr. Brewer's firm has
directed wireless services for such events as the 1998 Goodwill Games,
Superbowl XXXII, three Republican National Conventions, two Democratic
National Conventions, Three Presidential Campaign Trails, the PGA Tour,
three World Economic Summits and the Inaugurations of 1985, 1989, 1993,
1997 and 2001.
Mr. Brewer's firm played a key role at the 1996 Summer Games in
Atlanta, the 2000 Summer Games in Sydney and the 2002 Winter Games in
Salt Lake City. As Project Manager for each of the Olympic Events, his
firm produced the Fleetmap (the document defining the Communication
System and programming details) as well as the Distibution Plan, the
Training Plan, the Support Plan, the Recovery Plan and the Return Plan
for all the wireless devices. The items managed by Mr. Brewer's firm
supported all wireless and wired technology requirements for such areas
as Transportation, Administration, Security, Ticketing, Food, Medical,
Doping Control, Logistics, Communications, Olympic Family, Staff, and
Officials.
Prior to starting his own company in 1968, Mr. Brewer was a chemist for
Sun Oil Company Production Research Lab. Mr. Brewer has served as an
instructor in radio design and presentation for MCI, EF Johnson and
Motorola.
Mr. Brewer served in the United States Air Force as a Technical
Sergeant Telecommunications Specialist for the SAC and NCOIC for the
254th Mobile Command Communications Group and studied chemical
engineering at Arlington State University. |
