We are always actively seeking interns throughout the year. We seek
individuals with interests in Telecommunications, Information
Technology and High Tech. The ideal candidate should have some
experience working in the telecom and IT sectors. This person should
also be very organized and detail-oriented and be able to handle many
different responsibilities simultaneously. The candidate must also be
able to attend organization related events, activities and meetings.
This is an unpaid internship, however you receive tremendous benefits.
Interns will also be expected to provide general office and
administrative support to the organization. Please e-mail resumes and
cover letters to president@ntgts.org.
Our Society seeks to stimulate friendships, professional cooperation,
and respect in order to effectively promote cross-cultural developments
and commerce. A further goal of the Society is to provide members and
organizations with the information, resources, and tools that better
enable them to take advantage of the developments occurring in the
international communications and technology arenas. The organization
also fosters personal/professional development and the networking needs
of its members by providing access to a global network of industry
contacts and leaders. In addition, one of the Society's key missions is
to continue expanding and developing into other markets worldwide.
NTGTS and CTC interns learn about telecommunications and IT trends,
issues and developments as well as non-profit organization and
management through hands-on experience. These internships are
excellent opportunities to develop industry, event planning,
fundraising, communication and leadership skills; make valuable
industry contacts; and become familiar with the telecom and high tech
landscape. Although the positions are unpaid, educational credit
is possible. We are seeking loyal interns who will be available
for the duration of the internship and able to commit to a minimum of a
15-20 hour/week schedule. Candidates for internships must exhibit
strong computer skills and express an interest in learning about the
industry's current environment. Telecom, Business, E-commerce,
Engineering, IT, and Computer Science majors will be given
preference. If interested, please contact president@ntgts.org.
This is a win-win situation: we obtain needed help, and interns receive valuable experience and contacts.
